Jay Laylin Sworn In As 3rd Jesstopian President

President Jay Laylin is sworn in as the 3rd President Of The United States Of Jesstopia on November 16, 2024, at the Jesstopian Capitol.

NEWS 28 - President Jay Laylin was sworn in as the 3rd President Of The United States Of Jesstopia, where he made history, becoming the very first Republican Jesstopian Head Of State since the countries founding. Following his swearing-in, he gave his inaugural speech laying out only some things he has planned for his Presidential term.

The President said that he is committed to ensuring world peace, hoping to work with Ukraine and Israel, to come to a peace deals with Russia and Palestine and Iran respectively. President Laylin said that he would "work to end the wars in both countries as quickly as possible."

"It is time we get the United States Of Jesstopia back on track to peace and prosperity. Its time we lower inflation, cut taxes, lower the cost of groceries and gas, and time to end the Transgender madness that has plagued this country for far to long," said President Jay Laylin. "It's time we sue for peace in Ukraine and Israel, and its time we bring the world back to pre-2023 and pre-2022, when we weren't watching the world burn. This day will be known as World Liberation day because I will not stop fighting for peace, addressing the needs of the people of this great country."

He went on to express that he was committed to securing the Jesstopian Board, while authorizing Israel citizens to reenter the United States Of Jesstopia after President McCallum signed the antisemitic Israel Travel ban.

"To the people of Israel, I promise to reverse the antisemitic travel ban against the people of Israel as soon as I step foot in the Nationalist House this evening. We know the fight you were facing and we understand the reason you responded with gun fire and missile launches," continued President Laylin. "Under Federal law here, any foreign nation that "with no due cause, attacks the soil of that of the United States Of Jesstopia, should face certain retaliation with equal or greater force." We know that your response to Hamas attacking you was appropriate and justified. The previous administration attempted to vilify you for protecting your sovereign land and we will not let that to continue."

He also addressed the border security promises he made on the campaign trail, to secure the Jesstopian borders, with over 2.6 million illegals entering the United States Of Jesstopia under President McCallum.

"We have so much work to do to ensure our border remains secure, and we look to reopen the border to travelers after the last year of the border being closed," continued the President. "I will reverse several disastrous policies that were implemented by the previous administration, to ensure incredible market growth, ensuring job creation doesn't stall in this country due to mass illegal immigration and so much more yet to come. We have a lot of work, but I know with the support of Congress, we can accomplish what we set out to do."

He closed out his remarks thanking his family, friends and supporters for their dedication to his campaign, and said he "couldn't have asked for a better team to lead the charge towards victory."

President Jay Laylin is set to speak with Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu tomorrow morning, where the two men will discuss plans to bring peace to Israel from Iran and Palestine. Other administration officials are also set to meet with other world leaders as well tomorrow and throughout the next 2 weeks.
