RUFUS - President McCallum is being asked by multiple women rights groups to step down as President and allow Sam Simon to take over as President. The calls for him to resign come days after several complaints were filed and the Senate announced it would investigate to claims, and that the Senate ethics committee would also be involved in the investigation. McCallum has maintained his innocence throughout and is looking to ensure that he can effectively lead the United States Of Jesstopia. In an interview, McCallum was asked what would happen if he was found guilty of the claims in which he is being accused of, and he told us that he is likely to fight the findings. He also said that he will seek a Joint Congressional Trial and Hearing. He also told us that he would sue the "victims" as they work to tarnish his representation.
"If somehow, I am found guilty of these claims, and It is proven that I violated these woman, I will seek for a trial and will ensure that my good name remains intact," said McCallum. "It is a political stunt aimed at derailing my Presidency. I will fight this thing all the way and will ensure that these false claims don't disrupt my functioning as this incredible nation's leader and President." The Nationalist House has yet to released any statement regarding the President's upcoming events, and what will come of any events currently scheduled for January 8, 2023 through the end of February 2023. The Nationalist House's press office has been asking for comment from multiple people close to the President including Vice President Sam Simon. They have yet to respond to our request for comment. House Of The People Speaker Gretchen LeWolf has defended President McCallum since he took office in 2020, even as Deputy House Speaker. When questioned about the accusations against the President, she called out the 'victim', claiming that it was some sort of way to derail the legitimacy of his Presidency. "It is a serious claim to be made against our President. It is also a claim aimed at derailing McCallum's Presidency," said LeWolf. "A ploy of the Republican Party, to derail the Nationalist Party's chances at winning the Presidency in 2024. The Republicans have been trying since 2018 to put a Republican in office, and the plan to tarnish the reputation of the Nationalist Party." McCallum is expected to be in Congress starting early in January for questioning, which will likely take half a year to complete the questioning process. After that, testimony from all parties will be held, which will provide evidence and Senators from across the isle will begin their cross examination.
