RUFUS - Former North Lorray Governor Sam Simon was sworn in as the 3rd Vice President Of The United States Of Jesstopia this afternoon around noon. Simon was selected to replace Richard Banks after he announced his resignation as Vice President on August 19, 2022.
"I am honored to be selected as the next Vice President of the United States Of Jesstopia," said Simon. "It would be my honor to accept President McCallum's nomination and look forward to working with the President."
RUFUS - Vice President Richard Banks is currently under investigation for sexual misconduct and making inapropriate comments, to female staffers at the Nationalist House. During a meeting in North Lorray, a staffer also accused Banks of unwanted touching, which she indicated to him she was very uncomfortable with. She asked him to stop the advances to which he declined through non-verbal means.
ALDEN - Governor Kirk Paul has officially announced that he would not be continuing to seek the Presidency in 2024, as he cited that he has more work to do as Governor of Mesa. He also said that he wants to work to heal the State after a bombing left the State terrified and residents fearful.
"I have more work to do to ensure the State of Mesa heals from the horrendous tragedy that occurred on July 23, 2022," said Gov. Paul. "This State is my home and my work is not yet finished."
