NEWS 28 - President Jay Laylin was sworn in as the 3rd President Of The United States Of Jesstopia, where he made history, becoming the very first Republican Jesstopian Head Of State since the countries founding. Following his swearing-in, he gave his inaugural speech laying out only some things he has planned for his Presidential term.

NEWS 28 - The United States Of Jesstopia is gearing up for its Presidential election and other elections on October 16, as both Thomas Cooke and Jay Laylin prepare to face off for the second Presidential debate on September 28.
NEWS 28 - Jay Laylin has been issued his Presidential Protective Service agents after he was officially announced to be the nominee for the Republican party. The agents will take care of his protection, his transportation to and from his debates, rallies and during his election period. He will loose the protections if he looses the election in October.
NEWS 28 - Kirk Paul who served as the 19th Governor of Mesa from 2021 until 2023, has died at the age of 42, succumbing to the injuries he sustained during a targeted shooting at his private hotel room on Tuesday morning. Paul was rushed to hospital immediately, before being transferred to Nox City Medical Center, where died around 7:25 PM this evening.
NEWS 28 - Former Mesa Governor Kirk Paul is now in the fight of his life as he fights to survive injuries he sustained during an early morning shooting very early this morning. The former Governor was at his private hotel room when the shooter gained entry and shot Paul point blank in the chest.
ALDEN - Mesa Governor Joshua Adamson has suspended Mesa's Attorney General for his role in unlawfully dropping charges against, Adamson's former boss and predecessor, former Governor Kirk Paul. Joshua Wallard who has served since 2023 as the 57th Mesa Attorney General, was suspended this afternoon and will not be paid.
 The Nationalist House says President McCallum's cancer has returned. RUFUS - President John McCallum's cancer has returned, just shy of two years since he entered remission. The President has yet to determine if he will undergo chemotherapy and if so, has yet to determine if he will carry out his remaining term or give up the Presidency to Vice President Travis Loretti who is more than ready to take over the role as acting President.
