ALDEN - Former Mesa Governor Kirk Paul has announced that he has officially retired from politics to focus on his Alden Prime Time hosting gig and to focus on other special interests. The ex-Governor says that it was time for him to move on. Kirk Paul, who served as the 19th Governor Of Mesa from November 20, 2021 until his resignation on May 9, 2023, fought to the bitter end to save his career. His defaming anti-trans legislation, harmful policies on LGBTQ+ healthcare and access to schooling also led to the collapse of his political career. While he tried to save his career, many pro-trans supporters continued their calls for him to resign.

ALDEN - Just a little after midnight, Joshua Adamson was sworn in as the 20th Governor of the State. He comes into office during a time where he must rely on his people skills and moral character to ensure the State of Mesa stays together. The Governor did also say that many of his advisors are key to the success of the State. He says that he will hold a meeting tomorrow to discuss the ongoing tensions between the public and the Governor's Office. He says he will be EVERYONE's governor. RUFUS - The Jesstopian Department Of Defense says that the Jesstopian Navy has sunk 5 Russian water-craft including three subs, and 2 aircraft carriers killing a total of 52 confirmed Russian service members. Department Of Defense Director Braydon Kirsch announced that the Defense department would not be making any further comment on the matter and says it would release a statement at a later date.
RUFUS - President McCallum, who has spearheaded the Jesstopian response to the Invasion of Ukraine, by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Over the course of almost 5 months, he has ordered Jesstopian Troops to Ukraine to fight and protect Ukrainian Civilians. President McCallum has received approval from Congress to formally begin withdrawing troops from Ukraine on the basis the it will continue sending equipment, weaponry and military vehicles to Ukraine so that they continue to have the support they need to fight off Russian Advances. On Monday, President McCallum addressed Congress to ask for them to reconsider the costs of keeping troops in Ukraine. Over 900,000 troops have been killed on Jesstopia's Military Branches, and the President was worried that if they fighting continued, it would not only force Jesstopia's Government to call on the Selective Service System, which would pull names from a Civilian pool which mandates them to join the military involuntary to continue fighting for the United States Of Jesstopia. He also outlined the need for service members to return home from combat.
"We will continue to withdraw all troops through July 5, 2022. We plan on having all of our troops home before the end of the day on July 6, 2022." said President McCallum. "Troops will begin shipping back to Jesstopia starting June 30, 2022." RUFUS - Russian Spies as well as Russian Assassins were planning an egregious act, one that would have shocked the United States Of Jesstopia.
