RUFUS - President McCallum recently addressed Congress to request that they declare war on Russia. The President also required Congress to convene for a special session of Congress. During the session, President McCallum outlined what purpose declaring war would have, and Congress was hesitant to vote. They eventually decided to a vote. Congress convened to a vote at 12:00 PM, and a total count of votes was conducted. In a vote of 30 to 13, both houses voted to reject President McCallum's War Declaration request. President McCallum was unhappy at the vote's results.
"I very disappointed in our Nation's Congress. We had a chance to end the Ukrainian-Russian Conflict once and for all."
