NOX - North Lorray Governor Linda Lee has begun her 2024 gubernatorial campaign and is well underway to seeking reelection next year as North Lorray's first female Governor. The Governor's office said that she is "committed to working for the North Lorrayan people and says while campaigning she will continue to sign legislation, host virtual meetings and virtually meet with President McCallum. "My duty as North Lorray's governor is serving the North Lorrayan people first, campaigning second," said Lee. "I will continue to carry out my duties as governor while ensuring we can run a smooth campaign. My work will not solely involve campaigning and I will seek to address our state's assembly during the 2023 State Of The State Address on March 25, 2023. I will also hold several press conferences while on the road as well."
Lee had announced that she would launch her campaign this morning last week, and reconfirmed that her campaign would begin today after considering the workload she still has to get done before the 2023 State of the State. Lee's campaign team say they are prepared to multi-task as she prepares to hit the road visiting towns, cities and counties across the state. As a first time female governor, Lee has already received support from female voters who helped her win office against the late Sam Simon in 2022.
