King Georgie V Cuts Ties With Russia, North Korea, And China

DUKE PALACE - King Georgie V just made history being the first sitting, Poltian King to cut ties with three of the world's largest communist countries. After announcing that he "didn't share the same views as the late King Marcus II," King Georgie V, said that "in order for Kingdom to survive, it would need to reevaluate its stance in the world." He also said that "Jesstopian President John McCallum's kindness and guidance has made what he was doing and would decidedly do in coming weeks do, was an important step for Polton to move on and establish strong relationships with the rest of the world.

Under King Marcus II, much of Polton, was secluded to China and especially Russia, who offered very little but oil and money to the then-Communist Kingdom. By restricting much of the kingdom, King Marcus II, failed to see what the world had been warning it about. No country supported by a communist regime would she exponential growth, as many ex-communist countries have seen.

In other words, King Marcus II, was destroying the nation from inside out and would, had it not been for his death, the end of the Polton Kingdom, as world leaders from all over the world began preparing to go to war with Polton. Jesstopia was at the height of its dispute with Polton over the land that it was gifted back in the 1820s. Other countries, including the US, and UK didn't like what Polton was doing to its people.

King Georgie V, had ultimately inherited a beaten down, dried up country that was surely to collapse under the reign of King Marcus II over the next 10-15 years. When then-Prince Georgie of Duke suggested to his father that maybe he should reevaluate how the monarchy would be the downfall of Polton, and what the people could largely gain from becoming a Constitutional monarchy. His father detested that idea and rather, further beat Polton into the ground. He severed all ties with outside democracies and focused heavily on Polton's relationship with Russia, China and North Korea.

So, by cutting ties with 'The Big 3", he proved to Jesstopia, and the rest of the world that he was ready to stabilize Polton again, rebuild long-lost relationships that the then-failing nation once had that made it a strong beacon of hope and freedom, before the reign of Marcus II ever started.
