ALDEN - Former and embattled Governor, Kirk Paul early this afternoon made a surprise announcement, while speaking to Media School students, Kirk Paul announced that he would be returning to politics in early 2026. During a speech to students at the University of Arts and Digital Media, he expressed how his career in digital media led to his political career choice. "My time with you all today, has made me remember who I am, where I was when I first came here, sitting there in your seats, and why I decided to get into politics," said Kirk Paul. "This place is where dreams can come true, where you can take your digital media to the next level, where heart meets technology, and where your dreams are realized. It is an honor to have been invited here."
During his talk with the students, he was given several moments to answer questions from students. One asked about his future political plans. Paul responded like this. "I actually intend on returning to politics in 2026," said Paul. "My dream of politics was realized here, and now that I've returned, I realize that my time in politics is far from over. I know I've made mistakes, we all do. What is important that we learn from those mistakes. I am pleased to be welcomed here, and thank your incredible professors for the work they are doing with all of you. I look forward to see what you all do in the future." Governor Joshua Adamson, what he thought on the news of Kirk Paul returning to politics. Adamson who was Paul's Lieutenant Governor, avoided the question, often asking for other questions or completely ignoring the question altogether. Adamson seems, at least to his supporters, like he's almost abandoned Paul, but it wouldn't be a surprise. First, Adamson was always Paul's second or third choice for Lt. Governor, something that Paul and Adamson both have brought on numerous occasions. Paul and Adamson have not spoken since he left office on May 9. Voters across the State will likely look to 2026, as Kirk Paul will attempt to make an impossible comeback. If he runs in 2026 for Governor he is likely to be beat out by either Joshua Adamson or who ever wins the Governor's office during the 2024 Mesa Gubernatorial Elections. What might even happen is he'll make a bid for the State Senate. It will all be revealed in 2026.

NOOOOO. He can't be put back in any position of authority. His failures as Governor should've put his political aspirations to rest.

Mary you're absolutely right. His harmful policies not only diminish the transgender community, but show that politicians anywhere can deny the rights of everyday citizens, which violates our constitution.

I would love another Paul term. Joshua Adamson sucks eggs, and his inability to lead a State through a tragic flood, and preventing homeowners from deciding their safety and being able to go home. Its sad and its illegal.

Joe Cooke 2024. I can't stand either candidates, nor will I ever for either. The 2024 Mesa Gubernatorial Elections are important and I urge voters to go out and vote Nationalist.

Joe Cooke is the best choice for Governor in 2026. Good luck Paul, your chances of regaining the Governor's Office the moment your political career died in May 2023.
