RUFUS - Governor Thomas Cooke recently signed executive order 200.70, which barred parents from entering the child's school without written prior notice and approval by the district administration. The change comes after the Uvalde Shooting in Texas. States nationwide are responding in different ways including preventing parent entry into school buildings.
Executive Order outlined that only members of the School District's administration and official staff can approve or deny entry requests. This includes, building pricipals, building assistant principals, building administrators and more.
