New Shire Lt. Governor Gretchen Bershaw Killed In Shooting At Local Bar

RUFUS - Lt. Governor Gretchen Bershaw was killed in Downtown North Point, when a gunman opened fired into a crowd of Bar Patrons. The shooter who was immediately identified as 41 Year Old Greg Mathers, was taken into custody. According to witnesses, Bershaw was not the intended victim.​ According to multiple witnesses, it appeared that the bullet had ricochet and then struck 

Bershaw. New Shire State Police troopers are currently investigating the incident. A private memorial service will be held for Bershaw, and a Public Viewing will occur on Wednesday February 2, 2022. Her body will then lay in State for two days.
