President McCallum Addresses Congress Regarding The Establishment Of 20 New States

CONGRESS, RUFUS COUNTY - President McCallum visited Congress early this morning to discuss plans to create and admit 20 New States into Jesstopian Statehood.

President McCallum discussed the outcome of admitting 20 New States into Jesstopian Statehood, and how it would boost Jesstopia's Economy. The admittance of States would also cause a disturbance in the distribution of State Funding by the Federal Government.

"We must look at how new States would affect the distribution of federal funding to the existing states if these new States are admitted," said President McCallum. "We must also ensure that current Federal Programs can be provided for their current costs and hopefully even a little less." he continued. "The United States Of Jesstopia can't just establish new States and say, there will be no potential concerns of Funding and how it would be distributed effectively." 

Congress Proposed admitting new States into the United States Of Jesstopia on December 7, 2021, meaning that it is only the beginning of  talks.

The United States Of Jesstopia has been working to admit New States to re-stabilize the Jesstopian Economy. Discussions are ongoing to determine the best course of action when discussing the plans of admitting New States.
