President McCallum Has Officially Been President For 3 Years

"RUFUS - President John McCallum has official entered his third year as President and will leave office next year. But as his time in office comes to a close, we want to honor the work that he has done over the last 3 years, and what accomplishments he has been able to achieve.

First and foremost we must remember that President McCallum was never mean't to serve as President. In a 2020 interview, he expressed how he "never really wanted to serve in the role," and how he "fell into the role in extreme circumstances - President Joe Diester's death in 2018.

Secondly he navigated three terrorist bombings that plagued the country last year. His Presidency saw Jesstopia exit economic relation's with America, as it headed towards a certain debt default. His role as the President enabled Jesstopia to to reform its tax codes for the years of 2020-2022. He continues to work on the tax code for years 2023 and 2024.

His role as Commander-in-Chief also helped to mend broken relations with the Kingdom Of Polton. Jesstopia's relationship with the Kingdom was strained with the nation from 1952 until 2023, when King Marcus II died from health complications. Following his son, King Georgie V's ascension to the throne, relations have improved drastically.

​But since taking over as President, he has been the subject of many scandals, lawsuits and severe allegations. He has remain determined and has beat every single one. He has outlasted every lawsuit he faced. His role in Jesstopia remains unchallenged but he has faced much criticism in recent months especially with the ongoing October 29, investigation, which he was shown to have a temper against anyone who questioned his position in launching missiles.

"It has been a good three years and I am hoping to make my last year in office something special," said President McCallum. "It is important that we remember the trials and tribulations that this nation has faced, including the 2022 bombings, that killed 12 people. It also faced several prominent decisions including financial ties with America. More recently we also faced the bombing in Nox City this year."

He also played an instrumental role in establishing sanctions against Russia on February 24, 2022. His position on "cutting the head off the snake" comes to light every time he issues sanctions against the country. He also has been involved with drafting heavy sanctions against Hamas and Palestine, as that war pans out. 

In 2021, his first year in office, he authorized the funding and construction of 18 air craft carriers, 200 submarines, 52 fighter jets and funded the hiring of over 2,500 soldiers in 3 branches of the Jesstopian Military. He has one more year and he says he plans to do much more before he leaves office next year.
