Sam Simon Has Died

RUFUS - Former Vice President and Former North Lorray Governor Sam Simon has died at age 32, after a brief illness with cancer. The Simon family announced his death last night and said that the he will carry on with his Nationalist House Burial Ground internment, as planned prior to his death.

"It is with great sadness that I have been informed of the passing of Sam Simon, who served as this great nation's Vice President," said Speaker LeWolf. "As we continue to obtain details, we just wanted to send our condolences to the Simon family as they mourn his passing."

Simon died surrounded by family who were with him when he drew his last breath, as well as when medical professionals arrived to take his body. He will receive a state funeral but will not receive military honors as he didn't server as commander-in-chief. He will receive a 21-gun-salute, but that will be about the extent of what he will receive during his January 20, 2023. His body will lay in state at the Capitol from January 16, 2023 until his internment date, which is scheduled for January 20, 2023.
