RUFUS - Governor Thomas Cooke was shot early this afternoon while attending a conference in downtown North Point. The shooter a 22 year old, was taken immediately into police custody without further incident. His name is being withheld at this time.
The 22 Year Old will be in court on Monday and faces 50 years Prison after he shot and injured the Governor. If the Governor dies, he is facing life in prison. The Governor as of now is in critical condition and but is expected to make a full recovery. No word on where he was shot has been made, and the New Shire State Police is currently investigating the shooting
