RUFUS - Early this afternoon, Travis Loretti was sworn in as the Acting Vice President, during the recovery of Sam Simon who was seriously injured after his Vice Presidential Limo overturned after a serious mechanical failure caused his crash. "Vice President Sam Simon was hurt in a car accident early this afternoon, and now Travis Loretti will take over as acting Vice President." said President McCallum. Loretti will take over the duties of Vice President for the duration that Simon is out of office, and recovers. Loretti will fulfill several obligations of the Vice President and will act as Vice President from today until the day Simon returns to work. Travis Loretti comes to the office with very little political experience other than Campaign Management as he worked on the Campaign for Christopher P. Brothers and succesfully managed his campaign.
"I am honored and ready to serve as your Vice President while Sam Simon recovers from his car accident," said Loretti. "I will fulfill my duties to all of Jesstopian and all Jesstopians. I look forward to working with President McCallum at the Nationalist House." Loretti will not undergo his first Vice Presidential assignment until Wednesday. His first assignment will be to visit Mesa to talk about President McCallum's 2022-2023 Budget and to ensure that plans are laid out for the State of Mesa.
