NEWS 28 - Former First Honorable Lady And Five Term Former Governor Trisha Banks, since leaving the Nationalist House has devoted herself to bettering the lives of all Hilsonites that are struggling either mentally, physically or financially. She has spoke at several events that aim to end suffering within the state. She continues to speak at schools regularly on the issue of school safety and advocates for women and men who are survivors of domestic abuse. But the passion for politics has dug deep inside of her, and she announces that she would attempt to win a non-consecutive sixth term after 3 years since leaving the Hilson Governor's Mansion. She said that "Governor Bronson's failing economic policies is driving up inflation artificially, making living more expensive and leading to more struggling families. His willingness to let inflation run rampant has harmed millions of families across the state. He must be stopped."
Banks previously served from 2010 - 2020 as Governor winning five terms and instituting more policies than any Governor previous and more policies than Governor Bronson. She hopes that her previously successful policy making will win her a sixth, non-consecutive term. She says she will continue to work for the hard working Jesstopians who live within Hilson. "We need a leader that can enact meaningful change, and one who will fight to get legislation passed that will ease the burden of inflated costs on struggling families and to ensure that they are given the best chance to live comfortable," said Banks. "We need someone who knows how the economy works, and someone who can fix it when he gets broken. We are headed towards an economic collapse and millions of Hilsonites will feel it.
