VP Richard Banks Drops Out Of Presidential Race

RUFUS - Vice President Richard Banks, who announced his 2024 Presidential Bid in April, announced early this morning that he would not be continuing his fundraising and says that donors will receive a refund on the donations that the made.

Banks who announced his campaign for President in April, says that as of now, it isn't the best time for him to be campaigning for President but says he would like to run again at some point in a later Presidential election. He says that he will cease campaign fundraising and says he will not be continuing his Presidential Campaign, another step towards Thomas Cooke winning the Nationalist Party Nomination for President

""At this point in my career, and at this stage of my Vice Presidency, I will most likely run for the Senate until I'm ready to run in a later Election," explained Banks. "I will keep serving our great nation, but running for President is currently not in the cards. I officially announce my withdrawal from the 2024 Presidential Race and will seek election to the Senate in 2024."

Vice President Banks was to be a strong challenger to Thomas Cooke during the 2024 Presidential debates and Party Conventions. Now that he has dropped out of the campaign trail, he has cleared a strong path to victory for Thomas Cooke. Banks announced his endorsement for Thomas Cooke.
